A number of children suffering from cancer from Moldova will benefit from surgeries in Luxemburg. Such an agreement was reached by the Mayor of Luxemburg Xavier Bettel and Moldova’s Prime Minister designate Iurie Leanca, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, Xavier Bettel said he will be making every effort to establish efficient cooperation relations between the institutions responsible for public health in the two states.  He also said that during his visit to Moldova, he saw a number of good practices that he will implement in his city.

The officials also discussed the political situation in Moldova. The mayor of Luxemburg voiced hope that the current political class will make a correct choice so that Moldova advances in all the spheres of development.
