Moldova has won two medals at the EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships held in Russia’s Anapa, IPN reports.
Vasile Cebotari won silver in the 57 kg weight class, while Mihail Țaranu won bronze in the 48 kg class. Moldova’s squad consisted of 11 boys and three girls aged 15-16.
The European Boxing Championships of Russia involved about 350 boxers from 32 countries.
