The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration firmly condemns the August 8 terrorist attack at a hospital in Quetta in southwestern Pakistan that claimed over 70 deaths and injured more than 200 persons, including lawyers and journalists, IPN reports.
The Ministry expresses its solidarity with the authorities of Pakistan, its profound regret for the loss of human lives and compassion for the grieving families.
The Ministry reiterated Moldova’s firm commitment to fight all forms of terrorism and reasserted the necessity of combining and intensifying efforts at international level with the aim of combating these.
According to the press, a kamikaze detonated an explosive device in front of a hospital in Quetta. Dozens of people were injured and the doctors were unable to cope, being helped by locals.
