Moldovan athletes have won six medals at the Ukrainian version of the World Wrestling Championships, IPN reports.
Maxim Iuhnevici (90 kg, Balti) in the men's and Vera Zorea (52 kg, Calarasi) in the women's wrestling won gold and the first place on the podium.
Marinela Burca and Alina Burghelea won silver in the women's event.
Constantin Zorea and Lucian Brai came third.
According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 200 athletes from 23 countries took part in the World Wrestling Championships.
