Nina Capatina and Oleg Grigorita became winners of the international junior athletics tournament that was held in the Bulgarian city Ruse, IPN reports.

Nina Capatina won gold in the weight throw event with the result of 17.79 meters, while Oleg Grigorita achieved the result of 185 cm in high jump.

Another four Moldovans won silver medals: Carolina Vasilachi in javelin throw; Adrian Iordan in 400m race; Nicolae Popa in 1,500m race, and Vadim Luta in weight throw. The competition involved athletes from Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and the Republic of Moldova.
