Eighteen Moldovan volunteers and 16 Italian ones will stage Solidarity Camps in Moldova between August 1 and August 14, Info Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Social Mission “Diaconia” of the Bessarabian Metropolitan Church, which supports that project. Among the main objectives of the camps are to promote volunteering, stimulate the active engagement of the young people, ensure the exchange of experience between Moldovan and Italian volunteers, provide games and animation activities for children. The summer camps will be organized in two villages of Causeni district, in Stefan Voda town, and in Razalai village of Sangerei district. The project is implemented in partnership with Italy’s Caritas Ambrosiana. This year, it is for the fourth time that a joint group of volunteers from Italy and Moldova stage day summer cams in four Moldovan settlements.
