Household users can calculate or verify the size of subsidies provided by the state for natural gas using a computer available on the website of Moldovagaz, IPN reports.

The energy vulnerability categories are decided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Moldovagaz cannot influence the initial vulnerability category or change it, said Moldovagaz CEO Vadim Ceban.

If inconsistencies are identified, the consumers can call the government’s Green Line 0 8000 5000 or wrote to the electronic address support@compensatii.gov.md. Alter the information is corrected in the database, the supplier will receive the right to intervene in the consumer database.

If the subsidy for the previous consumption periods is not recalculated, SA Moldovagaz will make the necessary changes in the bills based on the update information received from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, in accordance with clause 56 of Regulations No. 704 of 05.10.2022.

The state offers subsidies for a volume of at most 180 cubic meters of gas a month consumed in winter.
