The volume of natural gas bought by SA “Moldovagaz” from SA “Energocom” in December at the price of US$1,183 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas, including VAT, totaled 96 million cubic meters, IPN reports.

The total cost of the purchased gas was US$113.6 million, which is equal to 2.174 billion lei.

By January 20, SA “Moldovagaz” fully paid the cost of natural gas for December 2022 to “Energocom”. According to the supplier, this was also possible due to the subsidies for December allocated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, in the amount of about 532.1 million lei.
