Moldova won a bronze medal in women’s team competition at the European Youth Archery Championships held in Ploiesti, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Education and Research said that the Moldovan team at the U21 competition was composed of Kasandra Berzan, Nicoleta Clima and Varvara Tisliuc.

In the small final, Irina Checanov’s pupils defeated the similar team of Ukraine 6-2. The Spanish team became the champion in this event after beating the Turkish team in the final.

Over 450 athletes from 38 countries contended at the European Youth Archery Championships held in Romania.
