Moldova has won one more medal at the World Universiade in Shenzhen, China. Andrei Rotaru won bronze in taekwondo, 58kg class. In the qualifiers, the Moldovan athlete defeated Congo’s Bazebizonza Floris Olivier, Alkalbani Hazaa from the United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia’s Lunn Ryan Chong Wy. In the semifinals, Andrei lost to Mostean Loron Hadi from Iran 7-10.
