Cristina Budescu, a student of the National Sports Boarding Lyceum, ranked third at the European Cadet Judo Championship in the 48kg class. The championship is held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on September 20-22, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Association of Sports Press of Moldova.

At the competition, Moldova is also represented by judoka Nicon Zaborosciuc, of the same lyceum. He competes on September 21.
