Dumitru Socolan, division head at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Monday was appointed as Moldova’s consul in Germany, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Government accepted the Foreign Ministry’s proposal to appoint Dumitru Socolan as general consul of Moldova in the consular district that includes the states of Hessen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Bayern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland and Thiringen of the Federal Republic of Germany, with residence in Frankfurt am Main. According to Prime Minister Zinaida Grecianii, Socolan showed professionalism and diplomacy while working as head of the Treaties Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European.
