Moldova will have charge d'affaires in Madrid
From June, Moldova will have a charge d'affaires in Spain's capital, Madrid. According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, the post will be held by Vladimir Ghiletski, who had served as deputy head of the Foreign Ministry's Consular Affairs Division, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Iurie Leanca said the appointment of a charge d'affaires in Madrid represents a first step towards opening Moldova's Embassy in Spain. Most probably, the Embassy will be opened next year.
The Spanish authorities intend to inaugurate a consulate in Chisinau in 2011.
