Moldova will fulfill financial obligations to regional and international organizations

Moldova will fulfill its financial obligations towards the regional and international organizations to which it is a party. The Government allocated 48 million lei for paying membership dues to 66 international and regional organizations for 2012 and a part of the debts for the previous years, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta said that during the last two years Moldova did not collect new debts for dues to regional and international organizations and a part of the debts that will be settled this year were rescheduled from the previous years. He also said that the fulfillment of the financial obligations to regional and international organizations on time is a matter that affects the country’s image abroad. As to the impact of the participation in these organizations and the use of the opportunities offered by them, the minister said that it is hard to measure this impact, but Moldova makes use of the existing possibilities depending on its interest and effort made.
