The Republic of Moldova will benefit from assistance from Romania in accessing European funds for infrastructure projects. A point technical working group will be set up for accessing different sources of financing for a number of areas managed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Minister Andrei Spînu stated in a meeting with the Minister of European Investments and Projects of Romania Dan Vîlceanu, IPN reports.
The joint working group will offer expertise in assessing financing sources for transport and road infrastructure, building sector, regional development, energy and energy efficiency.
Minister Dan Vîlceanu presented the financing opportunities offered by other sources that the joint territorial cooperation programs, such as the European programs, mechanisms and initiatives managed directly by the European Commission, where the Republic of Moldova can be a partner .
Andrei Spînu is paying a working visit to Bucharest on December 16-17.
