The Republic of Moldova queues up to purchase the vaccine against COVID-19, alongside the other countries, said the head of the National Public Health Agency Nicolae Furtună, who noted that no country started to immunize the population against COVID-19 as there is no finalized vaccine for human use, IPN reports.
“We recently had discussions on the platform “Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization”. Discussions were held so that when a safe, prequalified vaccine appears, this could be used for the risk groups in the Republic of Moldova,” Nicolae Furtună stated in a news conference staged by the Ministry of Health.
Epidemiologist of the National Public Health Agency Alexei Ceban presented the epidemiological situation concerning the control of the infection in Moldova.
