Moldova vaults 8 spots in FIFA rankings, hits new all-time record
The national football team of Moldova continues its surge in FIFA Coca-Cola rankings, climbing eight spots from 61st in October to 53rd in November, after a stunning 3:0 win with Hungary on November 17.
This is Moldova’s second best move this year, after it leaped 20 positions in the rankings just a month ago. Our national team acquired 82 points this month and was only 11 points short to enter the top-50.
Moldova ranks below Bosnia-Herzegovina and Hungary, and is followed by Honduras, Canada and Ecuador. Moldova managed to set its record high in the world rankings after it beat the Magic Magyars 3:0 in Chisinau.
The first three best scorers are still Argentina, Brazil and Italy. Romania slipped down one position to 13th, while Ukraine slid seven to 29th.
