The Cabinet took cognizance of the cooperation agreement between the National Anticorruption Center of Moldova and the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine in the prevention and combating of corruption and approved the initiation of talks on this, IPN reports.

Under the draft agreement, the parties will cooperate in the prevention of acts of corruption and in the investigation of specific criminal acts related to corruption. The proposed cooperation forms are: reciprocal and operational exchange of data and information and of experience; special investigation activities; seminars and workshops on methods of preventing and fighting corruption, and implementation of common projects.

The agreement will be valid for an indefinite period of time and will take effect after the last notification is made, by diplomatic channels.
