Moldova, Ukraine sign cooperation agreement on minorities' rights

Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pyotr Poroshenko signed a cooperation agreement to ensure the observance of the rights of the national minorities, Info-Prim Neo reports. The document was signed in Chisinau on Thursday evening, during a working visit by the Ukrainian minister to Moldova. The two officials highlighted the positive developments in the Moldovan-Ukrainian relations during the last few months. Iurie Leanca said they also discussed issues concerning the Transnistrian dispute and demarcation of the border. He stressed that both of the sides are willing to strengthen the bilateral relations. Pyotr Poroshenko said the latest developments in the relations between the two states can serve as an example.
