Moldova, Ukraine decide on border demarcation
The Moldovan-Ukrainian consultations on border demarcation between experts of the foreign ministries will continue with a visit by a Moldovan deputy foreign minister to Kiev in the near future, spokesman for Moldova's Foreign Ministry Valeriu Turea has told Info-Prim Neo.
During the consultations held in Chisinau during October 26-27, the experts exchanged opinions on the priorities of the bilateral relations and expressed the positions of the parties.
The delegations agreed that the consultations will be continued so as to identify mutually acceptable solutions to the problems concerning the demarcation of the state border and to reciprocally recognize the ownership rights on the territory of the other state, Valeriu Turea said.
The Ukrainian press reported that a Moldovan deputy foreign minister could pay a visit to Kiev on October 30.
