Moldova U-21 eager to take revenge on Greece

One month after it was demolished by the similar squad of Greece 1-5, the national U-21 football team of Moldova is decided to obtain a good result at home, IPN reports.

“We will make changes to the playing method so that it is different from that in Athens. We hope to have a good play and to improve our image and to show that it was just an accident,” Moldova U-21 coach Danut Oprea told a news conference.

“We are ready to fight the Greeks. I hope the game will be different from the away one,” said player Valeriu Makritski.

Moldova plays Greece at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau starting at 7pm on October 5. Moldova ranks fourth in the group with three points after three matches played.
