The national U-19 women’s team of Moldova suffered a 0-4 defeat in the first match of the 2013/2014 European Women’s Football Championship played against Finland, IPN reports.

According to the Moldovan Football Federation, the Finish footballers scored all the goals in the first half through Matilda Seppelin, Vera Saastamoinen (two times), and Natalia Kuikka.

In the other match of group 4, the Czech Republic demolished the Faroe Islands 7-0.

On September 23, Moldova will meet the Czech Republic. It will play the last match of the group against the Faroe Islands on September 26.
