The only goal for Moldova was scored in the 88th minute with a penalty kick by Zimbru striker Vitalie Damascan, who was named the best player of the match. “Today we got pleasure from the game. We played well both in defense and in offense. We ultimately didn’t make the mistakes made in other matches. Any victory is very important,” coach of the national Under-19 football team Oleg Fistican told a news conference.

In this evening’s final, Kazakhstan plays against Russia. The third place will be disputed by Greece and the team of Saint Petersburg.
