The national Under-17 football team of Moldova during January 14-19 will compete in the international tournament Aegean Cup that is hosted by Turkey, IPN reports.
The competition will involve eight national teams divided into two groups: Turkey, England, Moldova, Albania – group A; Spain, Russia, Macedonia, Turkey B – group B. Moldova will enter the competition on January 14 and will face Turkey.
Moldova manager Ion Testemițanu presented the following lineup: Andrei Filipov (Sheriff), Sergiu Pelin (Zimbru), Cezar Roșca (Dacia-Buiucani) – goalkeepers; Vicu Bulmaga, Roman Bejan (both Dacia-Buiucani), Roman Scurtul (Sheriff), Cristian Ignat (Juniorul, Romania) – fullbacks; Sorin Chele, Dumitru Chilian (both Real Succes), Nikita Holodov (Sheriff), Corneliu Staver, Tudor Butucel (both Dacia-Buiucani), Cristian Dani (Zimbru), Semion Figheli (FC Cahul – 2005), Vadim Covalciuc (ACS Kids Tâmpa, Romania), Cristian Ignat (Juniorul, Romania) – halfbacks; Daniel Dosca (Dacia-Buiucani), Rostislav Garganchuk (Sfîntul Gheorghe) – strikers.
