Moldova meets Kosovo in Pristina this evening, starting at 9:45pm. For the last match of the UEFA Nations League, coach Engin Firat has 23 players at his disposal, IPN reports.
Veaceslav Posmac, Eugeniu Cociuc, Alexandru Epureanu and Alexandr Osipov weren’t included in the lineup. In the previous encounter, Moldova drew 1-1 with Kosovo.
“We will try to finish this very difficult year on a positive tone. Kosovo has a powerful team and it will be very hard for us now that the veritable striker Muriqi returned. We have serious problems with the fullback position. A number of players are absent,” stated Moldova manager Engin Firat.
In the rankings, Moldova has one point, while Kosovo has two points. Moldova needs a victory to avoid the last place in the group.
