Moldova to open three new embassies in 2013

Moldova this year will open three new embassies – in the Netherlands, based in The Hague, in Canada, and in Qatar, Info-Prim Neo reports. After the January 2 meeting of the Cabinet, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca said that a series of international missions and institutions work in The Hague and Moldova’s embassy there will be able to establish new cooperation relations in different fields. Canada, which forms part of the G8 group, plays an important role in the world policy and economy. The embassy in Qatar will become a center of information about Moldova in this region. The necessary financial resources were earmarked in the 2013 state budget, said Iurie Leanca.
