Moldova to learn from V4 experience in informing people about EU

Moldova is interested in the experience of the countries of the Visegrád Group (V4) in informing the people about the benefits of the integration into the EU, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said in a meeting with representatives of the V4 and ambassadors of the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Government.

In the discussions, the Premier said the relations with the Visegrád Group are more dynamic and consistent, underlining the essential support that these countries offer to Moldova in the process of implementing reforms and in developing the political dialogue with the EU.

The representatives of the V4 Group reiterated the support provided to Moldova in the European integration process. They underlined the importance of promoting a proactive agenda with the V4 partners this year and the necessity of launching strategic long-term projects in different areas with the four countries.

In the period between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014, the presidency of the V4 Group, which was founded in 1991, is held by Hungary. Form July 1, it will be taken over by Slovakia.
