The grant, whose exact value is yet to be established, will mainly be spent on medicines, which are very expensive, according to Deputy Health Minister Aliona Serbulenco. She added that the next installment will be around 7 million euros.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Health told IPN that Moldova has so far received 15 million euros under the Agreement. A report has been sent to the Global Fund accounting for the past activities and the next installment will be provided after it’s examined.
