Moldova to buy 200,000 more Sputnik V doses

The Moldovan Ministry of Health will buy an additional 200,000 doses of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine for the western side of the Nistru, IPN learned from Zinaida Bezverhni, state secretary at the Ministry.

The procurement procedure will be officially initiated on Monday after the respective order is published in the Official Gazette. A direct contract will be signed with the Russian Direct Investment Fund, an investor in the Sputnik V vaccine, and with the limited liability company Вакцина человека.

It’s estimated the vaccines will be delivered within a month from signing.

Earlier IPN reported that 200,000 other doses of the Sputnik V vaccines will reach the eastern side of the Nistru after Chisinau authorized the import.
