The national football team of Moldova drew 1-1 a friendly match played against the similar squad of Israel away. Both of the goals were scored in the second half of the game, IPN reports.
Radu Gansari opened the score with a head kick following a good pass from Eugeniu Cociuc. The hosts tied in the last part of the game, with Ben Sahar transforming a penalty. ”It is not at all pleasant to get a goal in the 90th+5 minute, but I’m satisfied with the play. For us, the play against Georgia is much more important,” said Moldova manager Igor Dobrovolski.
On June 11, Moldova meets Georgia in Chisinau within the qualifying competition of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
