Moldova starts talks with Romania on emergency medical interventions

The Government approved the initiation of talks with Romania on an accord enabling reciprocal cross-border rescue and medical emergency operations. The document is expected to improve emergency services such as resuscitation procedures or vehicle extrication, IPN reports.

The proposed agreement will allow minors in emergency to cross the border without guardians and the mothers to accompany infants and toddlers on board the emergency vehicles.

Other border-crossing procedures applicable in such cases are to be established by each side within 60 days from the date of the agreement's entry into force.
