Moldova’s national football team will play two friendly matches in February. After agreeing a fixture with Romania, the Moldovan Football Federation also scheduled a friendly against Kazakhstan, IPN reports.
Romania announced a squad consisting only of players from the domestic league for the game on February 14. The match with Kazakhstan will be played on February 18, on the Mardan Palace Stadium in Antalya, Turkey.
Moldova and Romania have met 4 times before, with the latter winning 3 matches and the other ending in a draw. However, the Moldovans have fared better against Kazakhstan with 2 victories and a draw. Both victories have been obtained in friendly matches in Turkey.
