Moldova, Russia to sign protocol on cooperation in production for 2010
A protocol on cooperation in production for 2010 between the Governments of Moldova and Russia will be signed during the meeting of the Moldovan-Russian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation set to take place in February, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar.
Such protocols are negotiated and signed every year and are aimed at creating favorable conditions for industrial cooperation between the economic entities, improving their financial situation, developing mutually advantageous technological links between partners, extending the export markets.
The parties will agree and coordinate the list of exported products and of the involved economic entities and the volume of exports between the two states. It is important that all the parameters can be modified and replaced during the period of validity of the protocol.
No VAT is put on the goods exported under the protocol.
The protocol bans the export of finished consumer goods, goods on which excise duties are put, goods whose import is limited by introducing protection measures and goods the demand for which is satisfied fully from the own production.
