Moldova, Russia to sign agreement regulating migration

The Russian Federation and Moldova will soon sign an agreement on the regulation of migration for work. In a meeting of Russian Ambassador in Chisinau Farit Muhametshin and the head of the Moldovan Diaspora in Moscow Alexandr Kalinin, it was stated that the agreement was drafted and accepted by both of the sides, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Russian Embassy, Farit Muhametshin underlined the necessity of creating a legal database on migration for work purposes and voiced hope that the relevant agreement will be signed soon.

The Moldovan Diaspora said there are over 500,000 Moldovans living and working in Russia.
