Moldova reports hike in external debt in H1
Moldova's foreign debt administered by the republic's government, amounted to $789.2m as of the end of the first half of 2008, having increased $23.4m, or 3.1 percent, since the beginning of the year.
Moldova's Finance Ministry reported to RBC, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, that the country's foreign debt climbed 7 percent, or $51.9m, compared to the same period a year earlier.
Moldova allocated $28.5m for foreign debt repayment in January-June 2008.
