Moldova relies on France's experience in fighting corruption, Igor Grosu

The last elections have shown that the Republic of Moldova needs more support in the fight against corruption and criminal groups, and France's experience can be helpful. The issue was discussed by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu during a meeting with the new Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Moldova Dominique Waag, IPN reports.

The head of the legislative body stressed the importance of the cooperation relations with France. According to the Parliament’s press service, the discussions also focused on opportunities to intensify the cooperation relations. Igor Grosu spoke about the priorities on the Parliament's agenda and assured that the authorities will make every effort to maintain the pace of the advancement on the country's European path.

Igor Grosu also mentioned the new €25 million agreement to finance the state budget to support the transition to green energy signed within the Moldova Partnership Platform.
