Moldova ranked 84th by FIFA

Moldova's national football team climbed three slots to 84th in the updated FIFA rankings, published on Wednesday, April 28, although the Triclolors haven't play any match in April, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Moldovan national team garnered 392 points, an improvement of 19 points from March. From the beginning of 2010, the team coached by Gabi Balint climbed 12 spots in the rankings. Among Moldova's Euro 2012 rivals, Holland are the best rated, although it slipped to the fourth place from the third the previous month. Sweden is 37th, Finland 49th, Hungary 56th, and San Marino are traditionally placed at the bottom of the rankings. The current world leaders are Brazil, followed by Spain and Portugal.
