Heightened security measures in the country and at the border of Moldova will take effect starting Thursday at 8:00 PM. According to the Border Police, the measures are taken to ensure order and public security amid increased threats in connection with the war in Israel.

As decided by the risk management group of the Chisinau International Airport, access to the premises will be allowed only to passengers, based on the presentation of the travel document, to the airport personnel, as well as to members of aircraft crews.

At the same time, access through the middle gate of the Airport will be suspended, and it will be possible to enter the airport through access gates no. 1 and no. 3. To prevent congestions in front of the airport, and also streamline the flow of passengers, it is requested to show up at the airport at least three hours before the flight.

According to the Border Police, actions aimed at ensuring the security of citizens and the state of the Republic of Moldova will continue to be implemented.
