Moldova’s national youth squad has qualified for the final of the European Youth Rugby Championship that began on Dinamo Stadium in Chisinau on November 18, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the semifinal, Moldova beat Switzerland by 10-5. Daniel Hancu and Sergiu Muntean scored for the hosts. In the other semifinal, Poland demolished Serbia 33-3. Moldova and Poland will meet in the final on Saturday, November 21. Serbia and Switzerland will fight for the third place. The ceremony to open the competition was attended by the Head of Parliament and Caretaker President of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu.
