The Republic of Moldova was put on the list of counties with a high infection risk, classed as “red zone”, according to the updated information provided by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
The Moldovans who intend to travel to Ukraine will present the negative COVID-19 test result at the border crossing point. The test must have been done within 48 hours of the crossing of the border. In the absence of tests, the persons will quarantine for 14 days. As an alternative to quarantine, the persons can self-isolate if they agree.
Among the persons who do not need to present a COVID-19 insurance policy when crossing the border are foreigners and stateless persons with the right to stay permanently in Ukraine, the refugees or persons who need international protection or the personnel of embassies and consular offices of foreign states.
The children younger than 12, persons who go to Ukrainian universities for educational purposes, persons who transit Ukraine, drivers of freight vehicles or who work on regular passenger transport routes, personalities from the field of culture who arrive in Ukraine at the invitation of cultural institutions and others do not need to quarantine or self-isolate.
