The March issue of the journal “Wine in China” appeared in Beijing. For the first time, it includes pictures and information about Moldovan wines under the theme “Moldova – Country of Grapes”, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting sources in the Embassy of Moldova in Beijing. The Chinese consumers are familiarized with wines made by such companies as “Cricova”, “Lion Gri”, “Purcari”, and “Dionis-club”. The journal also relates about the Moldovan Wine Promotion Center that was opened in China with the assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova, the Moldovan Embassy in Beijing and the Chinese company “KSK”, which were authorized by the Chinese authorities to promote the Moldovan products. The information about the Moldovan wines was inserted in the journal “Wine in China” under an agreement reached by Prime Minister Vlad Filat and his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao last September. The aim of the agreement is to improve trade between Moldova and China. Contacted by Info-Prim-Neo, Ambassador Anatol Urecheanu said that Moldova will have a stand of wines at the Wine, Cigarettes, Sugar exhibition that will be opened in Chengdu later this month. Moldovan Agriculture Minister Vasile Bumakov will take part in the opening of the event.
