The Cabinet approved the start of talks with Ukraine about the mutual recognition of electronic signatures and facilitation of certification services.

The group of negotiators will be led by Viorel Malcoci, Head of General Directorate, SIS.

The signing of the agreement will facilitate cross-border certification services as well as electronic document data exchange between the parties. 

Similarly, according to authorities, the agreement will facilitate the development of cross-border e-commerce and will encourage small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in international trade.
