The national women’s football team of Moldova was trounced 0-6 by Sweden within the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Euro 2017. The ‘tricolors’ are thus the only team in group 4 that scored no point, IPN reports.
Asllani Kosovare and Rolfo Fridolina scored by two goals for Sweden and are top scorers after six matches played. Denmark, which is Moldova’s next opponent, also struggles for qualification. The encounter between the two will take place in Orhei on September 15.
In the last match of the qualifying rounds, Moldova meets Poland, on September 20. Namely against the Polish team, the pupils of Alina Stetsenko managed to score the only goal so far, through Ludmila Andone.
