The national football team of Moldova in the evening of September 2 plays the seventh match of the qualifying competition of the 2018 World Cup. Moldova meets Group D leader Serbia in Belgrade, IPN reports.
“Serbia has a lineup full of stars. These all play for important clubs. It won’t be easy,” Moldova coach Igor Dobrovolski told a news conference.
“We have a plan for the game. It is important to struggle till the end,” said the captain of the national football team Alexandru Epureanu.
Alexandru Gatcan and Petru Racu suffered injuries and will not play for Moldova. The Serbia – Moldova encounter starts at 7pm, Moldova’s time. Moldova ranks last in the group with only two points.
