The national U-19 team of Moldova will take part in the first qualifying round of the 2013/2014 European Women’s Football Championship that will be held in Finland on September 21-26. The first encounter, against Finland, will take place on September 21. The Moldovan Football Federation informed that Moldova will perform in Group 4, which includes the Czech Republic, the Faroe Islands, and Finland, IPN reports.
On September 23, Moldova meets the Czech Republic, while on September 26 – the Faroe Islands. All the matches will be played on the stadium Keskusliikuntapuisto in Kaarina town.
Moldova main coach Anatol Teslev announced the lineup that consists of 18 footballers: goalkeepers – Ana Zatushevskasya (Goliador SS-11 Chisinau ) and Elena Corai (FC Noroc Nimoreni); fullbacks – Cristina Cerescu and Nadejda Chicu (both FC Noroc Nimoreni), Victoria Gurdis and Alina Malic (both Goliador SS-11 Chisinau), Aneta Shapovalenko (FC Alga PGU-4 Tiraspol); halfbacks – Mihaela Bulat (CS Moldova Mandresti), Danuta Chicu (Goliador SS-11 Chisinau), Claudia Chiper (SS Anenii Noi), Nadejda Kolesnichenko (FC Alga PGU-4 Tiraspol), Lidia Grebinichenko (Narta SS Drasliceni), Viorica Tonu (FC Noroc Nimoreni), and Nadejda Vasilica (FC Olimpia); strikers – Alina Arhirii (FC Victoria), Liudmila Svistunova (FC Alga PGU-4 Tiraspol), Anastasia Toma, and Victoria Ursachi (both Goliador SS-11 Chisinau).
