The national football team of Moldova will play a 2014 World Championship qualifier against England’s squad at the Wembley Stadium on September 6. Moldova ranks the last but one in the group, while England comes second, IPN reports.

For this match, Moldova coach Ion Caras summoned 23 players. The final lineup was presented in a news conference on September 3.

The first-leg match between Moldova and England took place on September 7, 2012. Moldova was then beaten 0-5 at home.

Until now Moldova faced England at the Wembley Stadium only once, in 1997. The English team then won 4-0 against Moldova, which was also trained by Ion Caras.
