The national football team of Moldova preserved the 156th spot in the FIFA rankings for this month, IPN reports.

In March, the team trained by Igor Dobrovolski played two friendlies against Malta (0-0) and Andorra (1-0), both within the training session in Malta. Among Moldova’s opponents in Group D of the 2018 World Championship qualifying competition, Austria has the best position – 11th. Wales ranks 24th, Ireland – 31st, Serbia – 55th, while Georgia – 123rd.

The rankings are topped by Argentine, which is followed by Belgium and Chile. The next rankings will be released on May 5.
