The Republic of Moldova passed the ceiling of 20,000 infections with the novel coronavirus. Of all the confirmed cases, 6,083 are active ones, IPN reports, quoting data presented by the secretary of state of the Ministry of Health Konstantin Rymish.

As many as 659 persons succumbed to COVID-19 so far. The epidemiological situation continues to be unfavorable. Therefore, inter-sector cooperation was stepped up so as to monitor the observance of the epidemiological measures by the people and business entities.

As many as 13,298 infected persons got cured. There were done 122,657 primary and rerun tests.
