Moldova-Gaz natural gas supplier reduces deliveries to plants in Chisinau by 30%
Moldova-Gaz announces it will reduce its deliveries to the Chisinau-based power plants CET-1 and CET-2 by 30% because of debts, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a release Moldova-Gaz says the move is “to minimize the risks for all conscientious consumers from Moldova, because of Gazprom's claims to take urgent measures to pay the arrears.”
Moldova-Gaz halted its deliveries to heat-distributor Termocom on November 4 because of debts, too. The Chisinau Municipal Council voted to allocate 36 million lei on November 7 as asked for by Termocom to pay its debt to Moldova-Gaz. One third of the Chisinau residents still do not have heat and hoy water.
