Moldova-Film opens doors to mark 56th anniversary

The public is invited to visit the cinema museum of Moldova-Film on April 17, as well as its scenery sites and engineering offices. The Open Doors day is occasioned by the 56th anniversary of the studio, and by the 50th anniversary of launching the first movie “The Outlaw’s Ballad,” Info-Prim Neo reports. The Doors will Open at 11.00. The movie “The Outlaw’s Ballad” will be projected in Moldova-Film’s grand hall on the same day. The movie got the First Prize of the Soviet Union’s Movie Festival in Kiev, the second edition, “For the best image” – Vadim Derbeniov and the Second Prize “For the best music track” – David Fedov. The equipment Moldova-Film Studio bought last year will be shown to TV, video and cinema specialists. The Soviet Minister for cinema, Ivan Bolshakov, signed the order to set up a studio of documentary movies in Chisinau on 26 April, 1952. Five years later, the studio was allowed to produce feature movies.
